I didn’t even know scavenger hunting was a thing that existed in Toronto! How fun.
Urban Capers (UC) is all about designing scavenger hunts that are educational and interesting, tailored to the neighbourhood of which you are scavenging. UCs upcoming hunt is in the Church Street Village:
Date: July 18, 2014 – 7:00pm
Location: Outdoors – meet on Church Street, Church Street at Alexander Street
The promo states, “Walk in the footsteps of scandalous public officials, pioneers of the 1790s and the 1970s, artists, dancers, gambling kingpins, hockey legends, and of course queens, fairies and riot grrls. Find hidden places, secret stories, and maybe even a ghost or two on this exciting scavenger hunt through old Molly Wood’s Bush.
On an Urban Capers Scavenger Hunt, you don’t collect items, but rather answers to tricky and humorous questions. Teams of two to six compete over the course of two hours. Indicate on the registration form whether you are signing up with a team or on your own and we’ll set you up with a team.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at urbancapers.com
