ParaSport Ontario is a not-for profit organization that “affiliates a variety of ParaSport Clubs and more than 1800 athletes (inclusive of OALASA, OBSA, OCPSA, and OWSA) on a yearly basis. These athletes are given the opportunity to compete in Regional and Provincial Level competitions. This weekend, May 30 – June 1, is the annual Ontario ParaSport Games, which is being hosted in Northumberland County. Events that are included in this years games are: para-equestrian, sledge hockey, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, blind golf, amputee golf, hand-cycling and boccia.
